Our Philosophy

Mission Statement

Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital is a Catholic hospital that provides physical medicine and rehabilitation services to children and adults throughout the nation. We rehabilitate those who have sustained injuries or disabling conditions so they can fully participate in life. We lead research to improve outcomes. And we prevent physical disabilities and promote wellness through community programs.

Core Values

Our core values reflect Madonna’s history, mission and beliefs.

Collaboration – We value the involvement, creativity and contributions of all who help fulfill our mission.

Hospitality – We welcome one another as children of God, extending warmth, acceptance and friendship to all.

Respect – We believe every person is a treasure, every life a sacred gift and every human being a unity of body, mind and spirit.

Innovation – We passionately pursue creative, visionary approaches to healing, believing that with God all things are possible.

Stewardship – Our healing mission is most fully realized when we wisely and prudently use God’s gifts of time, talent and resources.

Teaching – We recognize every moment as an opportunity for mutual learning, and strive to share our knowledge and skills with our coworkers, those we serve, and the broader community.

Guiding Principles

Our principles guide our actions and behaviors, reflecting our core values.

Teamwork flourishes in an environment of shared trust and honest communication, where the unique strengths of every individual are valued and nurtured.

Hope and healing thrive in a welcoming atmosphere where the needs of those served are always anticipated and exceeded.

A high regard for all people is nurtured by celebrating the dignity, diversity and intrinsic worth of every individual.

World-class healthcare results from the unceasing pursuit of excellence, a strong commitment to research and continual improvement through growth in knowledge and leadership.

Healthcare ministry flourishes when built upon a strong business foundation of integrity and the responsible use of human, financial and material resources.

Learning is fostered by demonstrating attitudes and behaviors that inspire others, and by generously sharing knowledge and skills with all.
