Giving & Volunteering

Input from community members, including people with disabilities, individuals who have used our services in the past, and professionals from agencies with whom we collaborate are very important to Madonna. As a result, a small committee called the Community Council meets quarterly.

The role of the Community Council is to provide feedback regarding the following:

• Programs and service development
  
• Construction and renovation projects
  
• Service needs
  
• Printed materials, such as brochures and patient educational materials
  
• Marketing messages and activities
  
• Accessibility both within Madonna and the community
  

Information received from the members are then used in the hospital's strategic planning and marketing strategies, program development, and in facility renovation.
