In The Spotlight... Brain Injury

Welcome to Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital

Doors open at Alexis Verzal Children's Rehabilitation Hospital

Homepage

After Alexis Verzal suffered a brain injury at her day care two years ago, she couldn't see, talk, move or share her bright smile. Today, after rehabilitation at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital, Alexis loves to laugh and play. Her amazing recovery inspired Larry the Cable Guy to donate $1.2 million through the Git-R-Done Foundation to develop the all new Alexis Verzal Children's Rehabilitation Hospital at Madonna.

Built upon Madonna's history of pioneering rehabilitation expertise, the new 14-room facility offers the most advanced medical rehabilitation care and technology available for infants to older teens, including those who are ventilator-dependent. It is the only hospital in the state CARF-accredited for its Pediatric Specialty Program.

Now, children and their families from throughout the U.S. have access to world-class pediatric rehabilitation right here in Nebraska and, like Alexis, the opportunity to build a better future.

Funding for the Alexis Verzal Children's Rehabilitation Hospital at Madonna was donated by Larry the Cable Guy's Git-R-Done Foundation. Learn more at www.GitRDoneFoundation.org
