OverviewSpecializing in multiple levels of care enhances a better more independent lifestyleMadonna Rehabilitation Hospital is accredited by CARF, the Rehabilitation Accreditation Commission as a Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation Program with specialty accreditation in Brain Injury, Spinal Cord System of Care, Stroke Specialty and Pediatric Specialty Programs. In its most recent survey completed in April 2009, the CARF surveyors made the following comments regarding Madonna: "Madonna Rehabilitation maintains experienced and highly qualified personnel who are highly dedicated and demonstrate a commitment to the core values and mission of the organization." "The interdisciplinary treatment teams exhibit professionalism, enthusiasm, and compassion while thoroughly addressing the physical, functional, cognitive, emotional, social and spiritual needs of the persons served and their family members." "Personnel are engaged in extensive community activities that promote health and wellness and present Madonna Rehabilitation's commitment to the life-long needs of people with disabilities." Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital is unique in that it offers a broad continuum of care with multiple levels of care and a multitude of specialty programs and services. Each level of care is designed with the same ultimate goal: return the person served to the most independent lifestyle possible, enabling them to do the things that are most important to them personally. To accomplish this goal, some individuals may experience only one level while many others may move smoothly from one level to another.
