Dusty Feil was driving a load of grain when his truck hit a guide wire, severing his left arm and causing a traumatic brain injury. With the help of his Madonna team and his wife Janeen, Dusty is now back in Kansas, managing their farm.
Stephanie Wever was looking forward to her upcoming wedding when she suffered a major stroke. With determination and the love of her fiance and family, Stephanie worked hard in rehabilitation so she could achieve her goal - to walk down the wedding aisle and say, "I do."
Jeromie Meyer didn't see the drunk driver that hit him while he was riding his bike with his sister near their home in Woodbine, Iowa. His optimistic spirit and competitive nature helped him through his rehabilitation at Madonna. Jeromie is now a member of the national champion Red Dawg wheelchair basketball team.
Joan Bunton had to be resusitated twice on her way to the hospital after a serious heart attack. After surgery, complications required the amputation of her leg. Joan continued to defy the odds and through the support of her family and therapy team at Madonna, she can now walk with a prosthetic.
