Study Eligibility Criteria:
You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:
• Have had a stroke longer than 3 months ago;
• Can walk 150 feet (may use cane, walker or braces); and
• Are not currently enrolled in any therapy program.

Clinical Study Description:
This study is for individuals who have experienced a stroke. Individuals who participate will have an opportunity to use a therapeutic device called ICARE, a motorized elliptical trainer.

This study will evaluate the impact of using the ICARE on individual’s walking ability and physical fitness. The study involves about 28 training and evaluation sessions at
Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital’s Movement and Neurosciences Center.
