The outcomes described below are outcomes for outpatients 18 years or younger with varied diagnoses discharged between July 1, 2012 and June 30, 2013.
Last year, most adolescents and children were able to take care of themselves, communicate and either walk or use a wheelchair with some supervision. Some required adaptive equipment to help them be independent.
Patient/Family Satisfaction: 97.4% of outpatients or their family members rated their overall care at Madonna as "Excellent" or "Good.”
Many adolescents and children who have had a disabling injury or illness require therapy on an intermittent basis.
