Stephanie Wever was only 22-years-old when she suffered a massive stroke that left her paralyzed and unable to speak. She had just become engaged and was determined to keep her wedding plans, including walking down the aisle. Stephanie and her family selected the CARF accredited stroke rehabilitation program at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital to help her achieve her goals. With intense rehabilitation, hard work and the support of her family, Stephanie walked down the aisle on her wedding day and clearly said, "I do."
