    The USDA Dietary Guidelines for Americans encourages us to “make half of our daily grains whole grains.” What exactly does whole grain mean? How do you know if a product contains whole grains? Are there different types of whole grains? Get answers to these questions and more during this interactive class. Participants will get to identify diff erent grains and taste some delicious grain-based recipes!

    Adding soy foods is a tasty and healthy way to give your everyday diet a little diversity. Soy foods are free of cholesterol and low in saturated fat, making them an ideal high-quality protein source for individuals watching the blood cholesterol levels. They are also high in iron, B vitamins and calcium. Come enjoy soy in two different recipes and learn more fun ways to add soy to your diet!
