Dr. Jerry Reed graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine, where he later completed his Residency in Internal Medicine.

He has had an active private internal medical practice for many years in Lincoln. In April 2007, Dr. Reed joined the ProActive LifeBalance for Heart team. Not only does he work with the LifeBalance for Heart medical team, he works closely with the program participants and is present during all exercise sessions. As a graduate of the LifeBalance for Heart program himself, Dr. Reed understands first hand what it's like to recover from a cardiac condition.
