Monica graduated from Bryan Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and earned her BSN from Nebraska Wesleyan University.

She has been a staff nurse in a telemetry (cardiac monitoring) unit in Olathe, Kan., and at BryanLGH Medical Center. Monica also worked in the cardiac catheterization lab and electrophysiology lab at BryanLGH and served as a substitute educator for the cardiac rehab program.
