Harris Family Assistive Technology Lab: This lab provides multidisciplinary assessment and treatment for children and adults with severe physical and/or cognitive impairments. This lab contains the latest in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), environmental control, and computer access technology. Richard and Eloise Agee Speech Physiology Lab: This lab houses the latest in motor speech evaluation technology. Comprehensive motor speech assessments are conducted by researchers and specially trained clinicians. This laboratory specializes in assessment and management of velopharyngeal incompetence. Through a unique collaboration with Dr. Julie Marshal from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln dental college, patients can be fitted for palatal lift prosthesis or nasal obturators.
