Professional Interests:
Mark Hakel is director of Education and Staff Development at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital. He also serves as a principal investigator at the Institute for Rehabilitation Science and Engineering at the Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital. He teaches the graduate course on dysphagia at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He is active in research related to the assessment and treatment of individuals with acquired speech and swallowing disorders.
