Alexis Verzal was the victim of abusive head trauma at her daycare in Texas in 2008. She arrived at Madonna blind, unable to move her arms or legs, eat or drink. In the 10+ years since, she had done over 3500 hours of intense rehabilitation at Madonna which has prompted a miraculous recovery. Alexis is currently in a regular 6th grade classroom with her peers, enjoys acting in community theater productions and singing. Madonna has transformed Alexis's life and she is so happy to be supporting them as an Miracle Night Ambassador.
