Rod Krogh
About Me / Why I participate in this event:

On October 27, 2011, Rod’s car collided with a cement truck, causing him to be ejected from his car at least 30 feet. He was rushed to Bryan West Hospital where he underwent surgery for bleeding on the brain and was given only a 21 percent chance of living. He was placed in a medically induced coma for 14 days because of significant brain swelling, but says "God ultimately answered the persistent prayers many people made" for him. After 18 days in ICU, he was transferred to Madonna to address the severe traumatic brain injury he sustained and to help him relearn how to walk, talk, and perform the work he did as a senior legislative aide for a state senator. After a month and a half of in-patient treatment and a little over a year of outpatient treatment by a neuropsychologist, speech pathologist, and occupational therapist, Rod was able to go back to work in the State Legislature where he still is today. Rod joined the Madonna Ambassador team because he and his family want anyone who needs rehabilitation services to be able to receive the benefits of Madonna's world-renowned treatment.
