Deaf Lincoln man uses interpreter to recover from stroke

Gary Theiler, a stroke survivor from Lincoln, is deaf and relies on professional interpreters to accurately translate during his recovery at Madonna’s Lincoln Campus. Kelly Billings, OT, agrees that she couldn’t complete her sessions with Gary without the interpreter’s assistance. KLKN Channel 8 explained how Gary, his interpreter and Billings work together in his outpatient therapy.

New guidelines recommend children-regardless of age- stay rear-facing until they reach the upper height and weight requirements of the car seat manufacturer’s instructions.
