News: Elvis impersonator visits pediatric patient

Pediatric patient Aidan Smith got a surprise visit from his idol Elvis (aka Bill Chrastil) at the Lincoln Campus on Wednesday, July 25, 2017.

Aidan, 11, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, suffers from Juvenile Huntington’s Disease (JHD), a rare hereditary disease that affects the nervous system, movement, speech and muscles.

Both Aidan’s half-sister and father have passed away from JHD.

At Madonna, Aidan is gaining strength to sit in a wheelchair and enjoys outings to expand his world.
