Deaf Lincoln man uses interpreter to recover from stroke

Gary Theiler, a stroke survivor from Lincoln, is deaf and relies on professional interpreters to accurately translate during his recovery at Madonna’s Lincoln Campus. Kelly Billings, OT, agrees that she couldn’t complete her sessions with Gary without the interpreter’s assistance. Caleb Clemon plans on heading back to Iowa State University in the fall after being involved in a work-related accident causing extensive injuries including brain trauma.
