Madonna is uniquely positioned as a leader in the fight against cancer, as one of the nation’s only cancer specialty programs certified by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Scott Hueber, from Fort Wayne, Indiana, came to Madonna to rebuild his strength and regain his independence after a relapse of Mantle Cell Lymphoma, a rare blood cancer, and a 10-week hospital stay. Christmas traditions keep spirits high for cancer survivor

With three children, 10 grandchildren and even one great-grandchild, Nancy Thompson has spent many Decembers baking and decorating Christmas cookies. After she was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a rare bone marrow cancer, Nancy set a goal to be home for the holidays. With the help of her care team, she was able to participate in all her traditions and get strong enough to return home just in time for Christmas with her family.
