Just weeks after delivering her third child, Amber Becker woke up to numbness on her left side. The probem didn't go away, and after an emergency room visit and multiple hospitals, doctors struggled to find a definitive diagnosis. She began rehabilitation at Madonna's Omaha Campus and was eventually diagnosed with a rare form of multiple sclerosis. She continues to make huge strides in rehabilitation, her family motivating her hard work and positivity. 

Independence Square helps helicopter crash survivor regain everyday skills

Zach Petersen is learning how to live life in a wheelchair after surviving a helicopter crash at a Music Festival in Arkansas in early June. The Fremont, Nebraska, man spent time recovering at Madonna's Omaha Campus from extensive injuries to his right leg and hip. Thanks to Madonna's Independence Square, he's regaining strength, confidence and the ability to get back to being a father for his two young boys.
