Mary Lu received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 1985 and a Master of Science in physical therapy from University of Indianapolis in 1987. Her work experience includes Staff PT specializing in neurological patients at Bloomington Hospital, Bloomington, Indiana from 1988-1991 which included Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT) certification. In 1991, Mary Lu began work at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital where she has worked in the acute rehab traumatic brain injury unit, aquatic program leader, Staff Float PT, Skilled Rehab PT and currently Long Term Care PT on Ventilator Assisted Unit and Extended Care North. Mary Lu and her husband, John Long, PT have 2 teenage sons and are Husker sports fans.
