2016 Mettle of Honor Award Recipient-Nathaniel Farley
Nathaniel Farley, of North Platte, Nebraska, 23, suffered burns over 96 percent of his body, lost both of his legs and underwent multiple surgeries after an explosion caused by a heater. He has since found a way to keep his sense of humor while working to regain mobility and independence. He is in Madonna’s TherapyPlus outpatient program, focusing on recovery so he can be with his 1-year-old son.
