• Specialized training in aquatic therapy, Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT), serial casting, splinting, vision, and sensory integration

April is an occupational therapist in the outpatient pediatric program.   She obtained her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC).  Prior to that, she graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.  April has specialized training in aquatic therapy, Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT), serial casting, splinting, vision, and sensory integration.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing sand volleyball, running, and, completing art projects.
