Accommodation for one caregiver to stay overnight. Storage for patient supplies from home. And no transition between floor surfaces with zero-grade shower entry — ensuring that every component is designed to serve patient needs first.
Equipped for Even the Most Complex Cases
Our rooms are designed to accommodate the most medically complex patients in the country. Headwall fixtures in rooms hold ventilators, oxygen and specialized equipment. Lifts are also mounted to the ceiling. Every component is carefully engineered.

Our amenities, spaces and patient rooms are all thoughtfully designed to meet the rehabilitative needs of adults and children — a combined result of input from former patients, families, physicians, therapy staff, nursing and surveyors.

Family spaces and amenities
Shower and laundry facilities for families are included onsite, as well as family lounge and rec spaces featuring craft and hobby rooms, tabletop sports, billiards, video games, putting greens and more. All dedicated to enhancing the experience of families and patients during their stays.
On-campus family housing
Madonna housing offers comfortable accommodations allowing families to stay close to their loved ones as they go through long-term rehabilitation.
Outdoor spaces for patients
Featuring gardens, green spaces and recreation, giving patients the opportunity to relax and reflect amid their journey to recovery.
Classroom
Each unit has a dedicated classroom for teaching and training for patients and families, support groups and peer mentoring.

Daily breakfast, lunch and dinner meal service featuring a stone pizza oven, daily grill specials and made-to-order options, touchless ordering, food lockers, and a variety of indoor and outdoor public and private dining options.

An onsite, self-service convenience area for patients and visitors, offering healthy snack and beverage options, essential personal items, quick meals and more.
Pediatric courtyard
Pediatric patients — as well as children of adult patients — are all welcome to enjoy our pediatric courtyard, which provides a bright, engaging and safe space for little ones to play and just be kids.

Haircuts and styling, manicures and pedicures, and other personal grooming services. All onsite.
Onsite chapel
A quiet, serene space that offers Catholic and Protestant services during select hours.
Transitional living apartments
Apartments located within the hospitals — adjacent to rehabilitation hospital units — so that medical and nursing staff are always nearby. Giving patients and their families a supportive, home-like environment as they plan for and practice the transition from inpatient rehabilitation to independent living.
