- Certified in VitalStim/Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES) and Surface Electromyography (sEMG) for treatment of dysphagia
Kirsten graduated with a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2016. She has worked in a variety of medical settings and enjoys outpatient rehabilitation for the opportunity to work with individuals across a broad spectrum of needs. Her clinical interests include swallowing disorders, voice disorders, cognitive-communication disorders, and motor-speech disorders. Her areas of specialty include traumatic brain injury, stroke, and progressive neurological disease. Kirsten is a member of the adult Mild Traumatic Brain Injury Assessment Team at Madonna. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and seeing any form of live music.
