Lincoln toddler defies the odds walking with prosthetic legs for the first time
Three-year-old Emberlyn Hemmer is a double amputee defying the grim prognosis from a rare congenital disease. The toddler is discovering life on two legs through Madonna’s outpatient pediatric program at the Lincoln Campus.
