Adaptive Sports and Recreation Competition

The Madonna Magic team has been competing since 1996, and is a part of the Midwestern Conference of the National Wheelchair Basketball Association. The Madonna Magic competes against teams throughout the Midwest, including Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma. Every Tuesday evening between October and March, the Madonna Magic practices at Madonna ProActive’s accessible gymnasium. Visitors are welcome to watch.

The Madonna Match Points tennis team is made up of seasoned players as well as rookies. Madonna is a member of the US Tennis Association and works in collaboration with the Woods Tennis Center. They practice weekly at the Woods Tennis Center, and together we host the annual Lincoln Classic Wheelchair Tennis Tournament. Visitors are welcome to watch practice or tournament play.

The Youth Power Soccer Series is held during the fall at Madonna ProActive and includes a weekly two-hour practice that is split into junior varsity and varsity, along with hosting and traveling to tournaments. It enables individuals with a variety of medical diagnoses to use power wheelchairs to participate in a fun, recreational game of soccer.
