Paul Dongilli has dedicated nearly 40 years to serving Madonna Rehabilitation Hospitals, both in direct patient care and in leadership roles. In January 2016, he was appointed president and CEO of Madonna after spending 10 years as executive vice president and chief operations officer. He holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in speech pathology from the University of Pittsburgh, as well as a Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. As a leader in the health care industry, Dongilli has made significant contributions at both the local and national levels. He is on the board of the National Association for Long Term Hospitals, including serving a term as board chair from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, he is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He has served as a surveyor for the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities International and rehabilitation representative to the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services Trauma Advisory Board.
