Kyah Matthews was diagnosed with acute transverse myelitis at the young age of six, starting a journey of recovery that brought her to Madonna's Lincoln Campus. Utilizing aquatic therapy, physical, occupational and recreation therapies as well as the latest in rehabilitation technology, Kyah weaned from a trach and slowly began to regain mobility.
